Clinical Psychologist
Treatments
Through my training as a Clinical Psychologist, I can provide Evidence Based therapeutic interventions for a range of presentations.

I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting and I value being able to offer a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space where young people are met with compassion and warmth.
The difficulties I work with include:

-
General Anxiety
-
Panic
-
Agoraphobia
-
Social Anxiety
-
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
-
Specific Phobias
-
Health Anxiety
-
Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
-
Low mood and depression
-
Trichotillomania
-
Tics and Tourette’s
-
Emotional dysregulation
-
Low self-esteem
-
Sleep difficulties

I have experience in working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and make suitable adaptations to therapy for individual needs.

I primarily practice using a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach and am also trained in using other approaches such as the following:

-
Eye movement desensitisation therapy (EMDR)
-
Cognitive Behavioural therapy with Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
-
Compassion focused therapy (CFT)
-
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
-
Solution focused therapy (SFT)
-
Systemic approaches
-
Mindfulness based approaches
-
Behavioural Therapy

I am able to adapt my therapeutic approach flexibly, to consider the evidence base and you/your child’s unique needs and hopes.
